Fanbase Info
In 1992 we recognized that the former fanclub of DIE KRUPPS more and more dropped their work. They didn't agree with the new style of DIE KRUPPS that since the album "I" contained a lot of guitar and metal influences. So we, it was Frank and me, decided to take over their work.
With the release of the album "II" we started our work and established our fanzine the Mental Index. In the beginning we brought our four issues per year. Later, due to a lack of time on our side, we reduced. Temporarily we brought out 13 issues in sum.
The Mental Index was not only a DIE KRUPPS fanzine but also a mag regarding to other tendencies of industrial, metal and industrial music and in the following time a lot of people joined our fanbase.
We published a lot of interviews, concert reviews, news and other interesting things. Further we often had the chance to give some nice "giveaways" to our fans. We also started doing a little bit of merchandising for the band. Due to a enormous response via the internet we are unfortunately completely sold out! A small amount of different shirts may be left at DRO (Deutsch-Rock-Outfit). Possibly they are not listed in their official list but you can send them a request by e-mail.
Today we focused our work on another medium - the internet. Here we have the chance to reach a whole lot more people free of charge! On the other hand we have the chance to update the printed facts whenever necessary. So you'll always find the latest news here on these sides.
Due to the origin of our fanbase some of the printed articles are still in German. We apologize for this but on the other hand we don't have a problem in releasing an article in any other language that is sent in. So feel free to mail us your articles!
Take care
Stefan
